Beijing Tiananmen Square is the center of national political activities and the A+ power supply area of the national grid. Its power supply security is one of the key improvement projects under the 13th Five-Year Plan. DFE Power Distribution Master Station project is responsible for power distribution operation monitoring, line loss analysis and plaza lights control for important users in Tiananmen Square and nearby areas. By 2020, the annual average power outage time in Tiananmen Square will be less than 5 minutes, reaching a world leading level.
Supported by the safe and stable system solution, timely and comprehensive engineering service, flexible and considerate command, and professional and cooperative project team, DFE has helped the successful delivery of the 70th Anniversary Celebration, "BRI" International Cooperation Summit Forum, Spring Festival Gala, Hangzhou G20 Summit, 60th Anniversary Celebration of the founding of PRC, Shanghai World Expo, Guangzhou Asian Games, Beijing Olympic Games and other national major projects in power supply and has won undisputed reputation in the industry and gained the title of "Power Supply Expert" from the media.
DFE has successfully built Haier Group's IT-based intelligent energy master control project—the largest and world-leading intelligent energy management platform in China.
With this project, we built a central control station for energy management at Haier's headquarters, and energy sub-station systems in 15 parks and 55 interconnected factories across China. By integrating computer network technology, real-time data base technology, data analysis and prediction technology, the platform can carry out centralized, flattening and dynamic monitoring and digital management over operation status of equipment involving in production, transmission, consumption, supply and utilization of energy such as electricity, water, gas and heat and keep constantly improving and optimizing energy balance. The project was awarded the UN "2019 Global Energy Management Leadership Award" (EMWG).
Through our repeated discussion and verification with customers in terms of fault tolerance and blocking logic of distribution network self-healing, the Foshan dispatching system and Foshan distribution network operation management system developed and built by DFE has greatly increased the reliability and correctness of self-healing action logic and significantly improved power supply reliability. In 2018, among the 52 major cities nationwide, Foshan successful defended its championship in power supply reliability with average outage time of 2.31 hours/household and average outage frequency of 0.54 times/household.
The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Cross-sea Bridge has attracted worldwide attention. As a high-quality supplier of Southern Power Grid, DFE, in cooperation with Southern Power Grid Company, precisely identifies its customers’ needs and provides safe and stable solutions based on the unique local island climate environment. Our product meets the charging standards of Hong Kong, Zhuhai and Macau, and its intelligent charging management platform can upload the electric energy data timely and accurately, thus contributing oriental wisdom to the green operation and power supply of the bridge with its high specification, high standard and high.
The power cloud platform is dedicated to building an efficient and unified energy control solution, which can provide a scientific and well-functioned energy consumption index system for power plants to enhance supervision and management. The Aliyun-based real-time monitoring and control cloud platform developed jointly by DFE and Southern Power Grid has good stability in flexible regulation, fault tolerance, high degree of concurrent computing, and is easy to monitor and manage, realizing the real delivery from concept and to tools and from tools to practice.
The new-generation cloud-side cooperative distribution network master station developed with Southern Power Grid is designed to build cloud-side cooperative capability, redesign the structure of electricity distribution system based on 5G+AI technology in response to the development trend of Energy Internet of Things. Taking the advantage of its openness and leveraging data as a link, the platform integrates and empowers distributed power generation suppliers, energy service providers in parks, electricity sales service providers and electric vehicle charging service providers, and enables them to better perceive, process the massive information of electricity distribution Internet of Things and to make better decisions.
DFE applies cutting-edge AI technology in power dispatch centers, unmanned substations and high-voltage transmission lines in remote areas. Facilitated with active learning, human-machine interaction and intelligent image recognition technology, AI can liberate people from repetitive, labor-intensive and high-risk labor work and make power grid regulation and operation more intelligent.
Intelligent use of energy stimulates the creativity and vitality of the energy field. As a national key R&D project (863 plan), Guangzhou Conghua Mingzhu Industrial Park, by applying industrial park comprehensive energy management system developed by DFE, has successfully put in use a green shared intelligent platform where wind, solar, water and fire energy complement each other, cooling, heating and gas are supplied together, and energy flow, business flow and data flow integrate in one. As soon as the formal operation of the project, the installed capacity of renewable energy is no less than 26MW, the proportion of annual net power purchased from external power grid constitutes only 20% of the total demand or lower, and peak load is cut by over 20% through the interaction of commercial and industrial users. It is now possible to realize complementary energy system, resource comprehensive perception and other energy interconnection &sharing goals that enhance user stickiness and value creation, which adds to the charm of the Guangzhou, the City of Flowers. The technology is also successfully applied to Dongguan comprehensive energy sharing platform. In 2009, the technology was also used to have successfully declared the Southern Power Grid Lighthouse Project in 2019.
As the first Chinese enterprise that enters the Indian power industry, DFE has successfully delivered more than 10 provincial power transmission and distribution projects in India, covering more than 30 large and medium-sized cities, biting the largest market share in India among similar products. On October 11, 2019, President XI Jinping made his official visit to India, as a shortlisted supplier for India's 12th Five-Year Plan and a contractor for the transmission and distribution project in Tamil Nadu, DFE successfully completed its task of power supply guaranty for President Xi's visit to India.
New technologies represented by 5G, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, cloud computing and big data have rapidly penetrated into various fields of smart cities, lending a driving force to city management and technological innovation. In its general layout in smart city field, DFE involves itself in urban security, smart transportation, smart agriculture, smart ocean, smart medical care, smart parks, smart logistics and other fields.
The "SkyNet Project" we developed is now a silent safeguard of our city, based on big data, Internet of Things, face recognition and other technologies.

The food safety traceability platform, integrating QR code technology, Internet technology and RFID radio frequency technology, is now applied to agricultural and sideline products such as meat and vegetables, fruits, and alcohol and tonic products, etc. The solutions we provide for ChangYu and DongE EJiao fundamentally solve the food safety problems in production, processing, distribution, sales links and even on tables, greatly improving the production efficiency of enterprises while safeguarding food safety for the public.
